Harrisburg police said at least five cars were damaged when a crowd gathered during a fight near Harrisburg High School.
Shortly after an early dismissal Wednesday, the fight broke out between several Harrisburg School District students, police said.
The incident occurred off Rudy Road near Hale Avenue.
Police said there were no injuries and no arrests.
Gunshots were not fired during the encounter, police said.
abc27 obtained video from a neighbor who caught the chaos from her window. The video shows a large crowd of students in the street before two loud bangs sent the students running in the other direction.
The neighbor who captured the event told abc27 that she thought she heard gunshots.
During the fight, nearly half a dozen cars were damaged, mostly from students standing on them to watch the fight, according to police.
The roof of Darlene Covin's sedan was damaged. She does not know how she is going to get it fixed.
"When you're at work and you have to come home and see that, yes it's frustrating," Covin said.
