After an area of morning clouds associated with the passing of a cold front, skies have cleared through the afternoon hours making for a pleasant day overall. High temperatures did reach the lower 80s for many, however cooler air streaming in from the north keeps us below 80F for tomorrow.
The cooler air will be felt tonight into Monday morning as low temperatures drop to around 50F. Outlying areas to the north and west of Harrisburg could record middle 40s by daybreak Monday!
Monday's cooler weather is quickly replaced by a warm up on Tuesday and Wednesday as our winds veer from southeast to southwest bringing in plenty of southern warmth. A cold front then breaks up the warm air on Thursday and another big cool down ends the week. Get ready to have light jacket ready for a few days this week and summer clothes for the rest, just the fun of transitioning to fall!
