Chatham, VA - More than 100 people went after 50 positions up for grabs at a job fair in Chatham Thursday.

Custom doll manufacturer My Twinn is looking for part-time seasonal employees, and they certainly will have plenty of applicants to choose from after today's event.

The job fair started at 9 AM but folks were there early trying to land one of the 50 jobs.

The Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce partnered with the company to put together the event.

More than a hundred applicants met with My Twinn officials throughout the day at the Chatham Community Center.

The company, located in Chatham, specializes in custom made dolls, dollhouse furniture and accessories.

They are looking for employees with a range of skills - from data entry to artistic finishing services.

As they increase their staff for the holiday season, local officials say it is a great way for folks in the area looking for a job to find temporary employment.

"My Twinn and other companies like this, it's just an excellent program for us to help the community and the economic downfall that we've been facing, " said VA Workforce job developer Darrell Bruce.

The job fair wrapped up around one.
