SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Two people were hurt after a hit-and-run crash in the drive-thru line at the Shippensburg McDonald's.

Fire officials said an SUV hit the back of a car shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday. After the crash, they said the driver of the SUV backed up and hit the drive-thru window before leaving the scene.

Two people inside the car were hurt and were taken to a hospital.

Officials said a witness followed the driver of the SUV and called 911.

They said officers were able to track down and arrest 27-year-old Tyler Varner at his S. Prince Street home.

Charges of DUI and hit-and-run were pending, police said.
