Shippensburg police said they arrested a Reading man after he offered to perform a sex act on a plain clothes officer on foot patrol.
Tyree Farley, 20, stopped his car in the 100 block of N. Queen Street early Saturday and yelled the proposition to the officer, who approached to investigate the solicitation as Farley stated he would give it for free, police said.
The officer determined Farley was obviously under the influence of alcohol and directed him to pull over. He hit the curb and then asked to include another male plain clothes officer in the sex act, police said.
Police said Farley wasn't phased by a marked police car that was parked a half-block away, but was disappointed when he was placed under arrest for DUI and underage drinking.
