YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

A York College student who has been missing since Monday morning has been found.

Aaron Frishkorn, a 21-year-old senior from Elizabethtown, was located Wednesday in Canada, according to York police.

Police Chief Wes Kahley said Frishkorn crossed into Canada alone this morning before he was officially considered a missing person.

He said Frishkorn was in good health.

York police also told abc27 News that Frishkorn is a "person of interest" in a felony theft case in Spring Garden Township and was tracked down in Canada after he used a credit card.

Spring Garden police are expected to release information regarding their investigation on Thursday.

Frishkorn went missing from his campus residence Monday morning. Assistant Dean Mary Dolheimer said his absence from classes and meetings caught the attention of college officials, and his parents were unable to reach him.

Officials also discovered his car was missing from the campus.

Dolheimer said York College was focused on Frishkorn's well-being and is relieved that he has been found.
