A section of Interstate 83 southbound will be closed in the York area overnight.
PennDOT spokesman Greg Penny said the interstate would be closed in the area of Route 30 starting at 11 p.m.
Southbound traffic will be directed off the interstate at Exit 22 for North George Street, then south on North George Street to the intersection with Route 30.
The interstate should be reopened by 5 a.m. Thursday, Penny said.
The closure is part of a construction project to rehabilitate the I-83 bridge over Route 30.
Overnight closures of I-83's southbound lanes are also scheduled for Monday, Sept. 23 and Thursday, Sept. 26.
