Police: woman spent $4,600 with stolen credit card

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police in Silver Spring Township are searching for a woman they say spent over $4,600 using a stolen credit card.

According to authorities, the female suspect made purchases totaling $4,633.10 at a number of businesses in Cumberland and Dauphin counties.

The woman visited stores including Wine and Spirits in Camp Hill, Target in Lower Paxton Township, and Home Depot, Harbour House Crabs, Kmart, Toys"R"Us and Best Buy, all in Mechanicsburg.

She bought items such as a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone, 2 nail guns, multiple Playstation 3s and gift cards.

Police said the credit card and driver's license were the only things taken from the victim's purse.

The investigation is ongoing.
