A man arrested for robbing a Harrisburg bank last week admitted to numerous other robberies in Dauphin, Lebanon and Cumberland counties, police said Monday.
Landon Thomas, 51, of Harrisburg, has been charged with one count of robbery for Friday's holdup at the Fulton Bank at 200 N. 3rd Street, police said.
Thomas allegedly fled the bank with an unknown amount of money, but was identified as the suspect through surveillance video and taken into custody later in the day, police said.
He was sent to Dauphin County Prison on $5,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Monday.
A police source told abc27 News that Thomas is also suspected of robbing at least five gas stations and convenience stores in the Camp Hill, Harrisburg, Hershey and Lebanon areas.
In many of those incidents, the robber covered his face with a dust mask.
Thomas has not yet been charged in any of those crimes.
