Interstate 83 southbound in York will be closed two nights this week for work on the bridge over Route 30.
PennDOT spokesman Greg Penny said the closures on Tuesday and Thursday night will start at 11 p.m.
Southbound traffic will be directed off the interstate at Exit 22, then south on North George Street to the intersection with Route 30.
The closure should be removed and traffic restored by 5 a.m. the next morning.
A $2.27 million project to rehabilitate the I-83 bridge over Route 30 is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
