The Commonwealth Foundation teamed up with Keystone Politics and Heart and Mind Strategies for a survey of more than 1,100 people.
Seventy percent of Republicans and Independents favored abolishing state-run stores along with nearly 60 percent of liberals and 55 percent of union households.
Organizers said this is proof there is bi-partisan support for liquor privatization. The survey found voters believe it will lower prices and add jobs.
