DUNCANNON, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Perry County woman approached state troopers with a knife after police responded to the scene of a domestic disturbance, officials said.

According to authorities, troopers were called to an apartment on Suzanne Drive in Penn Township at around 5 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a domestic disturbance.

Once officials were at the scene, 49-year-old Casey Flanagan of Duncannon grabbed a knife from the kitchen area and came toward the troopers, police said.

She complied with orders to drop the knife, but authorities said she became combative and resisted being placed in handcuffs.

Flanagan was arraigned, and her bail was set at $50,000.
