LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police have arrested a suspect in a robbery at a Lebanon grocery store where a woman was injured last month.

William Kump, 26, is accused of taking the woman's purse in the parking lot of the Weis Market at 800 S. 12th Street on Sept. 27, Lebanon police said.

He fled into a vehicle and the woman followed him, reached into the vehicle and pulled her purse out while he drove away, police said.

The 44-year-old Lebanon woman retrieved her purse, but her wallet fell into the vehicle during the struggle and she fell to the ground and injured her knee, police said.

Kump, who has a last known address in Lebanon, was arrested by Cornwall police at a motel along Route 72 Tuesday night, authorities said.

He was arraigned on charges of robbery and reckless endangerment and placed in the Lebanon County Correctional Facility on $25,000 bail.
