Former fire captain charged with credit card fraud

A former fire police captain is accused of using a fire company's credit card for personal purchases.

Officials with the West Shore Regional Police Department received a report from the West Shore Bureau of Fire regarding unauthorized transactions on the company's bank account.

Following an investigation, authorities determined that 34-year-old Gregory Wilson Hosler of the 700 block of Middle Lane in Camp Hill had used the fire company's credit card for personal purchases worth over $2,155.

Hosler is the former fire police captain at the West Shore Bureau of Fire.

Hosler has been charged with one felony count of access device fraud. He was arraigned, and bail was set. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 23.
