York police investigating fatal shooting

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

York police are investigating a fatal shooting.

The York County coroner said Jordan Breeland, 21, of York was found in an SUV on the 100 block of Jefferson Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police tried to revive Breeland, but it was too late.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Although the body was found on Jefferson Avenue, investigators do not believe he was shot there.

The SUV was towed from the scene.

There were several reports of shots fired called into 911 dispatchers on Tuesday night.

abc27 saw police gathering evidence on the 100 block of Gas Avenue, although it's not clear if that scene was connected to the deadly shooting.

Police said there may have been a second shooting victim, but they have not been able to locate that person.
