Police ID 2 wanted in TV thefts

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police said they have identified and charged two people wanted for shoplifting $3,000 worth of television sets from a Walmart in Lancaster County, but have not yet arrested them.

Shakur Latiff Brown, 39, and Michelle Denise McLemore, 45, both of Lancaster, each face felony and misdemeanor retail theft charges for taking the televisions the store at 2034 Lincoln Highway East on Oct. 7 and 11, East Lampeter Township police said.

Their whereabouts are unknown and arrest warrants have been obtained, police said.

The two are accused of taking three televisions valued at $2,194 during the first incident, and stealing a fourth TV valued at $998 four days later.

In both incidents, police said they loaded the TV sets into a shopping cart and walked out of the store.

Anyone with information concerning their whereabouts is asked to call East Lampeter police at (717) 291-4676.
