A 15-year-old Harrisburg boy has been arrested and charged as an adult for a shooting incident that injured eight people outside the Allison Hill Community Center.
Darrell L. Henderson was arraigned Tuesday night on 25 charges, including seven felony counts each of simple assault, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and reckless endangerment, according to court documents.
Henderson was also charged with conspiracy to commit criminal homicide and three firearms offenses before he was sent to the Dauphin County Prison on $500,000 cash bail.
Investigators said the gunshots were fired as several adults and children were leaving the center at North 16th and Walnut streets after a youth party Sunday morning.
The shooting apparently stemmed from a fight at the party, police said.
The victims all sustained non life-threatening injuries. They were treated at a hospital and released.
Henderson faces a preliminary hearing set for Oct. 25.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed.
