The Federal Bureau of Investigation is involved in an apparent investigation of a suburban Harrisburg business.
FBI agents were seen loading a gray van with several boxes they removed Friday morning from Alpha Diagnostics, at 945 East Park Drive in Lower Paxton Township.
The FBI has not said what the agents were looking for or why they may be investigating the company. A public affairs agent would only say that the agents were "performing law enforcement activities."
A source told abc27 News that the building was locked down after at least six FBI agents walked into the office this morning and told employees to gather their personal belongings and to go home and wait by the phone.
Alpha Diagnostics is based in Owings Mills, Maryland. The Lower Paxton Township office is home to the company's Mobile X-Ray Imaging Division, which provides portable ultrasound, EKG and X-ray services to nursing homes, retirement communities, assisted living centers, and correctional facilities, according to the company's website.
