HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
Police arrested a 25-year-old and are still on the lookout for a second suspect following a stabbing incident in Swatara Township, Dauphin County.
According to officials, police were called to Mid-Town Pizza in the 900 block of Eisenhower Boulevard in Harrisburg for a report of a large fight.
Upon arrival, officers found two victims that had been stabbed. Authorities determined the suspects had fled the scene.
The victims were transported to Hershey Medical Center where they are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police said one of the victims was an employee of Mid-Town Pizza who was trying to break up the fight.
Detectives were able to identify the suspects as Yonis Mercedes, 25, of the 2400 block of Market Street, and Chanel Florimon-Peguero, also 25, of the 1900 block of Kensington Street.
Mercedes was arrested without incident and is awaiting arraignment at the Dauphin County Booking Center on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. He is also being held on an active warrant out of Lebanon County.
Police are searching for Peguero; they have obtained an arrest warrant for two counts of criminal attempted homicide and two counts of aggravated assault.
