Harrisburg woman fatally struck on S. Cameron

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Harrisburg woman died as the result of a pedestrian accident Monday afternoon on South Cameron Street, according to city police.

Nicole Terry, 40, was fatally struck near the intersection of Berryhill Street at around 2:20 p.m., police said Tuesday.

Terry and another person were attempting to cross Cameron when both were struck by a car.

The second victim, who was not identified, was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment of their injuries, police said.

The incident closed Cameron between Paxton and Market streets for nearly four hours.

The investigation is ongoing.
