Attackers injured victim in Susquehanna Township robbery

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A 21-year-old man suffered injuries to his face and body when he was attacked by a pair of robbers in suburban Harrisburg, according to police.

Susquehanna Township police said the victim reported that he was walking in the 3700 block of Walnut Street when he was struck from behind with an unknown object and knocked to the ground between 10 p.m. and midnight Monday.

While laying on the sidewalk, he said two males kicked him and took his backback before running away, police said. He was transported to a relative's house by an unknown passerby.

Police said they would like to speak to the person who assisted the victim and anyone who may have witnessed the assault.
