A fire that significantly damaged four York row homes and displaced 12 people Wednesday morning has been ruled arson, according to investigators.
York Fire Chief David Michaels said the fire in the 300 block of Oak Lane was intentionally started on the exterior between two homes.
The fire was reported at 10:50 a.m. and caused $100,000 in damage, Michaels said.
The American Red Cross said it was assisting the four families who were displaced with food, clothing and shelter.
