Sunday was a very typical Fall day across the Commonwealth. Mild conditions and sunshine for many, but the farther north and west you go, the more clouds, and cooler the weather due to the influences of Lake Erie & Ontario. Lake effect clouds may play into the forecast again on Monday, but most of our region will experience mostly sunny skies.
The weather pattern remains quiet into the new week, with an increase in clouds possible by Wednesday, and especially Halloween (Thursday). Clouds will build along a warm front that may bring a stray shower or two to Pennsylvania on Thursday. Temperatures will climb into the middle to even upper 60s for the final day of October, before a cold front arrives with cooler conditions for the weekend. The timing of that front will be a close call for Trick-Or-Treaters Thursday evening. Right now the rain associated with the cold front looks to move in early Friday morning, but with so many outdoor plans Thursday night, we will continue to keep a close watch to the timing of that front.
