Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station's Unit 3 has been returned to full power following a fall refueling outage.
Unit 3 reached 100 percent power on Sunday, according to an Exelon news release.
Operators had removed the reactor from service Sept. 9 to replace nearly one-third of the fuel and to perform maintenance.
Upgrades made during the outage will allow the station to generate additional power, pending approval by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, according to the news release.
Other major projects included upgrades to safety and electricity generation equipment.
The plant's other reactor, Unit 2, continued to operate during the Unit 3 refueling outage.
