Man critically injured in Harrisburg shooting

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A man was critically injured in a shooting incident early Friday in Uptown Harrisburg.

Harrisburg Police Chief Thomas Carter said the man was shot in the back of the head while driving, and crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of N. 6th and Schuylkill streets shortly after midnight.

It appears he was shot while driving on N. 6th Street, police said.

Carter did not release the victim's name. He said the man is in his 20's and he described his condition at Penn State Hershey Medical Center as "grave."

No one has been arrested.
