Woman dies after buggy hit by truck on Route 30

KINZERS, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Lancaster County woman died after a tractor-trailer struck a horse and buggy Sunday night on Route 30.

Barbara King, 21, of Holtwood, died at Lancaster General Hospital, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

King was ejected from the buggy after it was rear-ended by the truck near the intersection of Hoover Road in Salisbury Township at around 10:30 p.m., state police in Lancaster said.

The buggy driver, 23-year-old Stevie King Fisher of Christiana, had minor injuries, police said.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, identified as 51-year-old Levi Graham of Philadelphia, was not injured.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
