A registered sex offender who allegedly exposed himself and showed pornographic photos to children at a Cumberland County motel is headed to court.

Carl Sachette, 73, waived his preliminary hearing Monday and allowed all charges against him to proceed without contest.

Police said Sachette invited an 11-year-old into his Middlesex Township motel room where he gave out candy and showed the child photos of his genitals.

Authorities also allege that when children who lived at the motel were outside playing, Sachette would stand at his window completely nude where they could see him.

Sachette faces a Jan. 23 formal arraignment on charges of unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, indecent exposure, disseminating explicit sexual material to minors, and open lewdness.

His bail at Cumberland County Prison is set at $150,000 cash.

According to Pennsylvania's Megan's Law website, Sachette is registered as a sex offender because of a 1990 conviction for sexual abuse of children and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.
