HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are looking for help in tracking down a suspect in the armed robbery of a suburban Harrisburg restaurant.

Susquehanna Township police said the robber reportedly approached a waitress at the Waffle House and placed a hard object against her side as he demanded money from the cash register at around 3:35 a.m. Friday.

He got away with an undetermined amount of cash, and fled the restaurant in the 3800 block of Union Deposit Road on foot, police said. He was last seen heading west into the Dauphin Plaza area.

He was said to be about 5'4" - 5'6" tall and was wearing a beige hoodie, dark jeans and tan boots, according to police.

Police released surveillance photos and asked anyone who recognizes the man to call them at 717-909-9232.

There is reward money available for information leading to an arrest, police said.
