Reward offered in armed robbery with syringe

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers has announced a reward for information in the armed robbery of a convenience store last month.

Authorities said they are trying to identify two men who entered the Sunoco at 1637 Lincoln Highway East on the night of Oct. 30, when one of them brandished a syringe as a weapon and demanded cash from the clerk.

Both were last seen running north through the parking lot toward Old Philadelphia Pike.

A suspect seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt on a surveillance photo was described as a light complected white or Hispanic male who is about 5'10" to 5'11" tall with a thin build.

Another man, seen wearing a knit cap, was described as a white or Hispanic male who's about 5'6" to 5'7" tall with a thin build.

Crime Stopper will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
