Attorney charged in convenience store robbery

A licensed attorney and former Cornwall woman was arrested Tuesday morning after she robbed a convenience store in Lebanon County, according to police.

Kathy Laurino Yeatter, 50, is accused of stealing cash from the Sunoco A-Plus Market at the intersection of Route 72 and Route 419 in Quentin, West Cornwall Township police said.

Yeatter, who has addresses in Cornwall, New Jersey and Florida, allegedly robbed the store shortly before 4:30 a.m., police said.

An officer responding to the robbery passed the suspect vehicle, a 2000 Volvo sedan with a Florida license plate, on Route 419 in Cornwall Center.

He stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Anthracite Road and Boyd Street and took Yeatter into custody without incident, police said.

Yeatter was charged with one count of robbery and placed in Lebanon County Prison on $25,000 bail.

No firearm was displayed during the robbery, police said.
