YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

A York man wanted for questioning in woman's shooting death last week has spoken with investigators.

Eddie Gallon III, 35, voluntarily went to the police station Tuesday and was questioned by detectives, police said.

He was then placed in the York County Prison on several outstanding warrants unrelated to the homicide of 49-year-old Monique Nixon, police said.

Nixon, a resident of East Market Street, died at York Hospital after she was shot in the chest early Wednesday in the 200 block of S. Queen Street.

Police have charged one person, 25-year-old Christopher Schwenk, with criminal homicide in her killing.

Investigators believe the two men were arguing when Schwenk fired at Gallon and mistakenly shot Nixon, but they still want to hear from anyone who has information concerning the incident.

Anyone with information may call York police at 717-846-1234 or use the anonymous tip line at 849-2204.
