5,000 pounds of steel stolen from Springettsbury business

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are investigating a theft where more than two tons of steel was stolen from a York County business.

Springettsbury Township police they were called Monday morning to Graham Engineering, at 1203 Eden Road, where 117 metal shelf supports had been stolen from the rear of the business.

The beams have an estimated weight of 5,000 pounds and an estimated value of $1,000, police said.
