While many families are struggling to find warmth this winter, one charity is struggling to find families who need free heat.
Twelve new furnaces are available from the Cumberland Valley Habitat for Humanity for applicants meeting the following requirements:
- As of right now, this is open to Cumberland County residents only.
- Applicant must be a homeowner, and currently residing inside that home.
- Must be at 80 percent or lower of HUD Median Income for Cumberland County.
Installation costs are covered up to $1,200 dollars.
Grant money that provides installation funding will expire in March.
