Posted:

Danville, VA - A Danville man charged in a two year old murder had a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.

Shaquan Jamar Fallen's case was certified to the next grand jury and moved from Juvenile District Court to Circuit Court.

Fallen, 18, was charged with first degree murder earlier this month when police say he shot Cordero Walker, 18, to death at Cardinal Village Apartments.

Fallen was also charged with the use of a firearm in a public place within 1000 feet of a school, and willfully discharging a firearm in a public place resulting in bodily injury. He is being held in Danville City Jail without bond.
