Matchup:  Chattanooga (8-3) at No. 1 Alabama (10-0)

Time:  1:05 p.m.

TV:  PPV

Line: None.

Last meeting:  2009 -- Alabama 49, Chattanooga 0 (Tuscaloosa, Ala.)

Series record: Alabama leads 11-0.

WHAT'S AT STAKE

Not much. Alabama doesn't figure to get much of a challenge from FCS Chattanooga in a game that should amount to a warm up for the Iron Bowl against No. 6 Auburn. The Mocs, though, will have an eye on another game. They'll get an automatic bid to the FCS playoffs as Southern Conference champions if Elon upsets Samford.

KEY MATCHUP

Alabama's offensive line versus Chattanooga's defensive front. The Crimson Tide's offensive linemen average 308 pounds, 42 more than the Mocs' starting defensive line. That edge could let 'Bama pound away with running backs T.J. Yeldon, Kenyan Drake and Derrick Henry.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Chattanooga: QB Jacob Huesman has been a threat running and passing. He has passed for 1,637 yards and 16 touchdowns against five interceptions while rushing for a team-high 894 yards and nine scores. Huesman didn't practice early this week because of a knee injury, but he Is expected to play.

Alabama: Drake often gets overshadowed by Yeldon and only got four carries against Mississippi State, but he does have two 100-yard games this season and is averaging 7.6 yards per carry. If coaches decide to limit Yeldon's carries, Drake could have a solid game even if he also doesn't play the whole way.

FACTS & FIGURES

Alabama's AJ McCarron can set the school mark for wins by a starting quarterback. At 35-2, he's tied with Jay Barker (35-2-1). ... Chattanooga is 4-113-3 all-time against Southeastern Conference teams, the last win coming 14-6 at Tennessee in 1958. The Mocs have played two of the last four national champions. They lost 45-0 to Alabama in 2009 and 62-24 to Auburn in 2010. ... Chattanooga leads the SoCon in total and scoring defense while Alabama leads the SEC in both those categories. ... Chattanooga has claimed at least a share of its first SoCon title since 1984, also the only season when the Mocs made the playoffs.

The needed repairs are the result of a January cold snap that ruptured the air conditioner coil in the library's main air handler. Parts have been ordered, and repairs will be scheduled once the parts arrive.
