Update:

A suspicious package received in the mail Thursday at Planned Parenthood in Birmingham has been handed over to the FBI for further testing, Birmingham police said.

"We've retrieved a package, and with that package we will turn it over to
the FBI who's also on site and they will send it off for further testing," Capt. Orlando Wilson told ABC 33/40 reporter Cory McGinnis.

Employees of the women's clinic were forced to evacuate the building, but following the incident, Wilson said there was no danger to the public.

Police declined to confirm whether a return address was on the package and no arrests have been made.

"We have nothing to go on at this moment," Wilson said.
