Chatham, VA-- An anti-uranium group has formally thanked the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors for their stance against uranium mining.
A representative from the Keep the Ban Coalition presented the Board Chairman with a certificate of appreciation Tuesday night at their meeting.
Last Spring, the Board of Supervisors voted 5-1 for a resolution to maintain the state moratorium on uranium mining.
Keep the Ban Coalition also presented Danville City Council with a certificate of appreciation earlier this month.
