Two men have been arrested for an armed robbery where a Lancaster County gas station clerk was threatened with a syringe.

Mitchel Alexander Conte, 22, of Harrisburg, turned himself in to East Lampeter Township police on Tuesday and William David Gray, 31, of Lancaster, was taken into custody Thursday, authorities said.

Both men are accused taking robbing the Sunoco Akam Market, at 1637 Lincoln Highway East, where on Oct. 31 they allegedly used the syringe to threaten a clerk while demanding money, police said.

Investigators, who released surveillance photos from the incident, said a number of people provided information that led to the arrests.

Both men were placed in Lancaster County Prison on $100,000 bail. Each faces charges of robbery, criminal conspiracy, and attempted theft.
