HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are searching for the man identified as the owner of a pit bull that was tied up and thrown into the Swatara Creek.

Lower Swatara Police have filed charges against Lamont Harris, who was Lady's owner according to her microchip.

Lady was found earlier this month by Jason O'Donell, a construction worker who has started the process of formally adopting her. She has a fractured hip and wounds from being bound.

Authorities are trying to locate Harris; if you know his whereabouts, or if you see him, please contact police.
