Carlisle police are investigating a report that a man was attacked and beaten by three people Sunday evening.
The 25-year-old victim told officers he was attacked from behind and knocked to the ground where the males kicked and punched him three to four times, police said.
The incident reportedly occurred in the area of S. East and E. Pomfret streets at around 5 p.m.
The victim said the three attackers were wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts, blue jeans, sneakers and black ski masks, according to police.
He managed to walk to a friend's house and call for an ambulance after his attackers fled the area, police said.
He was transported to Carlisle Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
