Woodall Auto Mall Donates $3,000 to Salvation Army

Danville, VA - Woodall Auto Mall in Danville teamed up with the Salvation Army to make sure families in need will have a meal this Thanksgiving.

All month long, Woodall dealerships collected proceeds from each car sale to go toward holiday meals at the Salvation Army, and today owner Robbie Woodall presented the group a check for 3,000 dollars.

That's enough for more than 300 meals.
Woodall says giving back is an important way to stay connected to the community.

"You see people in need all the time, and I just felt that was a definite need. So we want to make sure we let the customers know we did exactly what we said we were going to do and a little more, " Woodall said.

The Danville Salvation Army is expecting to serve hundreds of people this year on Thanksgiving.
