Institute of Advanced Learning and Research Asking for School Supplies for Teacher Angel Tree Project

Posted:

Danville, VA-- Educators are getting a help hand this holiday season all thanks to the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research in Danville.

They just kicked off their 9th annual Teacher Angel Tree Project.

Danville and Pittsylvania County elementary school teachers who are need of more school supplies, have their wish lists on the ornaments on a tree displayed in the Institute's lobby.

If you'd like to help out, you can adopt a teacher and buy those supplies for them.

The wish lists including pencils, glue sticks, notebook paper, markers, copy paper, scissors, notebooks, erasers, crayons and more.

Over 120 teachers have submitted requests and each limited their wish list to $10 or less.

You have from now until January 3 to drop off the supplies at the Institute.
