HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Perry County girl's dream to become a princess came true in Hershey on Saturday afternoon.

A special "princess party" was held for 5-year-old Brielle Kelly, who has been in and out of the hospital since birth—first with an emergency small intestine transplant, which failed and had to be removed.

Now Brielle is undergoing strong doses of chemotherapy to battle lymphoma.

Dressed in a sparking ball gown and crown, Brielle arrived at the Hotel Hershey in a horse-drawn carriage to enjoy food, music and have an awesome time away from the hospital.

The event was a first in the Midstate for the Pittsburgh-based organization Jamie's Dream Team.

"We've never done anything in this community," said the Team's founder, Jamie Holmes. "We have never even set foot in this area, and so many supporters have come out to help, and it's just been amazing!"

Brielle still needs four more rounds of chemotherapy to fight the lymphoma before she can be placed back on the transplant list.
