Dauphin County officials have launched an online marriage license application service and public search feature.
"The new online services are designed to be secure and easy to use," said Register of Wills and Clerk of the Orphans' Court Jean Marfizo King.
"Now, residents can apply for a marriage license from the convenience of their own home, saving them time and money. This implementation allows us to continue to improve customer service."
All marriage license information, including requirements and instructions, are located on the county's website.
The new software also allows residents to conduct high-level searches of public records filed in the county's Register of Wills and Clerk of the Orphans' Court Office, such as marriage licenses and estates probated in Dauphin County.
