PENBROOK, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police arrested a Penbrook man after a woman reported that someone had broken into her vehicle and stolen her purse.

Susquehanna Township Police investigated a theft that was reported from the Central Penn Fitness Center parking lot in the 400 block of Powers Avenue on December 8.

Officials said the victim's car window had been smashed, and her purse was taken from inside.

Following an investigation, police determined that 39-year-old Sean Truesdale of the 2600 block of Butler Street had used the woman's credit card at four different local businesses, and surveillance pictures were obtained.

Authorities recovered the purse at Truesdale's residence, and he admitted to the theft. He is currently awaiting arraignment.
