Suspect arrested for home burglary in West Manheim

HANOVER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police in West Manchester Township, York County have arrested a suspect in a home burglary incident.

Daniel Jonathan Mills, 23, of Columbia, forced his way into a house in the 200 block Vegas Drive by prying open a rear basement window Friday while the home owners were away, township police said.

He allegedly stole cash, jewelry and other valuables.

Police said they arrested Mills as he fled the home on foot and the stolen property was recovered.

Mills was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property, possessing instruments of crime, and loitering and prowling at night time.

He was arraigned and placed in York County Prison on $10,000 bail.
