Snow showers continue this afternoon from time to time

Posted: Updated:

An Alberta Clipper pushed through the region overnight and left behind some light, powdery snow in the form of 1-3" of accumulation.

Most of the steady snow is pushing out of the region now and should be gone by the main part of the morning commute.

However, snow showers will be around through the morning and again later today as this system reinforces the cold airmass across the region -- for now.

Highs today will be in the lower 30s.

Wednesday and Thursday will offer fair conditions with temperatures in the 30s tomorrow and warming into the 40s by Thursday.

By the end of the week, a huge surge of mild air will arrive along with a showery pattern.

Expect on and off showers from late Friday through Sunday. Temperatures will warm each day and get close to 60 degrees by Sunday afternoon!

Things turn colder and more calm by next week as we await the approach of Christmas.

Stay tuned!
