HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police took three teenagers into custody after they were seen walking with handguns on Paxton Street in Swatara Township, Dauphin County this afternoon.

Two teens fled when officers approached them. One was captured in a quarry near Derry Street and the other was caught in Paxtang, police said. The third teen surrendered immediately.

The pistols were found to be pellet guns that looked real, police said.

The 15-year-old boys were all charged as juveniles with disorderly conduct.

The teens who fled were additionally charged with flight to avoid apprehension and one of them was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Both have prior convictions and were placed in a juvenile facility, police said.

The third teen was returned to his parents.
