UPDATE: State Police ID Woman Airlifted After Accident on 460

UPDATE: 10:47 a.m.

Bedford Co., VA - State Police have identified the woman who was airlifted to Lynchburg General after an accident that blocked all four lanes of traffic on 460 Thursday evening.

State police say Adrienne Lee Hull, 26, of Boones Mill was turning onto 460 and was hit by an SUV. Hull didn't yield the right of way as she turned onto Route 460, state police said.

Two people in the SUV were also taken to the hospital.

State police so no charges have been filed at this time and the crash is still under investigation.

Update: 10:45 p.m.:

Bedford Co., VA - State Police say a 26-year-old woman from Boones Mill didn't yield the right of way as she turned onto Route 460 and was hit by an SUV.

The woman was airlifted to Lynchburg General. Two people in the SUV were taken by ambulance to Lynchburg General. There is no word on their conditions.

Bedford Co., VA - It was very slow going in Bedford County Thursday evening, as an accident shut down Route 460 in the New London area.

The two car accident was on 460 in the eastbound lanes near the intersection with Bethel Church Road right around 6:30 p.m. Both directions were shut down as a medical helicopter came to get one of the victims.
