Police in Upper Allen arrested a man after they say he assaulted a former girlfriend and held her against her will.

On Saturday at 7 a.m., officials were called to a home in the 400 block of Stonehedge Lane for an active domestic assault.

An investigation revealed that 35-year-old James M. Costilow assaulted his ex-girlfriend and physically held her against her will. She sustained multiple injuries as a result.
